Kidz Cubby is a TRUE Family owned and operated 150-place Early Learning Service that is set on an exclusive 2.5 acres in a rural residential setting on Oakey Flat Rd Morayfield. We provide Long Day Care, Kindergarten and a Wilderness Program.

Kidz Cubby was established in 2002 by Karen, who is a teacher herself. As a mother, she struggled to find a childcare centre that met her expectations for quality care and education when her own children were young. Motivated by this experience, Karen built and operated her first childcare centre which was opened in 1993 in Northern NSW. Her dedication and commitment to excellence have led Kidz Cubby to be a leader in the industry for the past 21 years. Today Karen’s legacy remains as her daughter Danielle leads Kidz Cubby as Managing Director.

We are a one-of-a-kind Early Learning Service. We have stepped outside of the norm to create a very special place for children with a commitment to being Real; real learning, real environments, real qualifications, real family, real quality, real pets and the list goes on and on.

We have animals incorporated into our learning spaces, composting stations, worms farms, chickens and native bees. As our ‘real’ approach to connecting with community, families, children, nature and each other is evident, we take great pride in the special place we share here at Kidz Cubby.

Our long-term team are one of our greatest assets, with a real passion for early learning and a real professional approach. Our team work as a family to ensure that our children and families receive our expertise in early learning and education. Our professionally developed Kindy program is Government approved and recognised. Our Bachelor trained teacher is a long-term member of our team.

With 3 fully qualified teachers leading our service and supporting educational learning throughout, we are confident that an eye for quality and attention to detail is strongly upheld.

I really can’t be more grateful towards Kidz Cubby for the help both of my children have received during their time there. My daughter who is now in her first year of school was given the most amazing amount of love, support and encouragement which gave her trust in her own abilities and a passion for learning. I’m thrilled to share my heartfelt testimonial for Kidz Cubby Daycare at Morayfield. From the very first meeting with Danielle and Gemma, my family and I felt at ease and welcomed into their daycare family.

One of the standout features of Kidz Cubby is the incredible space provided for the children to enjoy both indoor and outdoor play. We started our kidz cubby/kidz rock journey about 7 years ago with our eldest bloke after an upsetting experience at our last centre. Everything about kidz cubby was a far better experience for us so it was a no brainer that when we had our youngest bloke that he would come here too. He loves coming to “school” and has learnt so much while making friends along the way. As parents we have had a great experience with the centre and all staff, everyone is so welcoming, and I know my baby is loved like their own.

After visiting 10 or more local daycare centres, I walked into Kidz Cubby and not only was I greeted by the educators but so was my daughter. On most visits to other day-care centres, the staff only ever spoke directly to me the parent. Walking through, I immediately felt like I was in a loving home, a part of a community and knew that everyone there was going to genuinely care for my child. The play spaces were also a factor of consideration when choosing Kidz Cubby, 1.5 hectares of play space, gardens and animals, you don’t get that kind of natural space with other centres. Kidz Cubby has offered more support than I could’ve asked for. They have helped navigate and support my daughter’s Autism journey and given her a safe space to learn and grow with her disability.
